Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift hospital position requiring recent acute care experience and multiple advanced certifications.

Details

• Work in a hospital Respiratory Therapy department with 350 beds
• Day and night shifts staffed with 1 charge and 5 staff members each
• Variable patient ratios
• Uses Hamilton G5/C1/T1, V60, and Vyair Avea ventilator equipment
• Meditech EMR used, prior experience preferred but not required
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential through NBRC
• Active state license required if applicable
• Minimum 6 months of current acute care RRT hospital experience within the last 6 months
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• AHA or ARC certifications accepted, none expiring within first 30 days of start
• PEDS/NICU/PICU experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri)

• Perform ventilator management and airway management procedures
• Work as part of an energetic, team-oriented staff with a strong focus on patient experience
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
