Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; administer medications and monitor for adverse effects; document accurately.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Maintain patient safety, apply infection control practices, respond to emergencies, and exercise clinical judgment and critical thinking.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team; participate in care coordination and transitions.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- BLS certification required
- ER nursing experience (minimum 1 year) or equivalent demonstrated proficiency
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week in a fast-paced ER setting
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher; BSN preferred
