Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team Job Description: - Unit Information: - Emergency Department with a total of 30 beds and 8 hall beds. - Supportive team of 77 dedicated staff members. - Shifts: - Day Shift: 7A-7P - 7 RNs, 1 Paramedic or LVN, and a Charge Nurse (CN) amongst others throughout the day. - Night Shift: 7P-7A - 8 RNs, 1 Paramedic or LVN, and a CN. - Patient Ratios: - Enjoy manageable patient care with a ratio of 1:4. - Equipment: - Utilize state-of-the-art tools, including: - Baxter IV pumps - GE Monitors - Ventilators - BiPAP/CPAP machines - Belmont Rapid Infusers - Portable EKG machines - EMR System: - Work with Meditech for efficient patient documentation. - Ideal Candidate: - Must-Have Skills: - Compassion and empathy are essential. - Preferred Skills: - TNCC and ENPC certifications. - Typical Procedures: - Engage in diverse clinical activities such as: - NIH protocols - IV and blood draws - Moderate sedation - TNK - Cardiac monitoring - Personality Fit: - Seeking team players who thrive in collaborative environments. - Certifications Required: - BLS - ACLS - PALS - TNCC - Dress Code: - Stylish royal blue scrubs to represent our team. - Weekend Commitment: - Typically every other weekend.
