Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, strengths, and needs upon their entry into the program.

• Create and execute individualized treatment plans that align with assessment results and the unique goals of each client.
\n
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to address various mental health issues.

• Continuously monitor clients’ progress throughout their treatment, documenting significant changes and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care providers, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.

• Advocate for clients’ rights, essential services, and access to community resources, working diligently to empower their journey to recovery.

• Uphold confidentiality and comply with ethical standards dictated by state licensing boards and professional organizations, modeling best practices in all aspects of client interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary client focus includes adults and families grappling with a range of emotional and mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and mood disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Two (2) years of post-licensure experience, with a specialization in mood disorders being highly preferred.

• In-depth knowledge and expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, for treating mood and emotional disorders.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology, enhancing collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to achieve optimal client care.

• Demonstrated history of successful outcomes in treating various mood disorders, showcasing effective therapeutic interventions.

• Experience in delivering therapy via telehealth platforms, effectively managing digital client interactions and maintaining engagement.
