Security Officer Access Gate Associate As a Security Officer Access Gate Associate in Florence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional environment through visible presence, strong communication, and customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Schedule: Mon 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM; Thur 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM; Fri 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM; Sun 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to all visitors, vendors, and employees by following access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, docks, gates, and other controlled spaces. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, drivers, and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitor activity, vehicle movements, deliveries, and other security‑related observations in accordance with site expectations. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including warehouse areas, trailer lots, loading zones, and parking areas, while observing for unusual activity and/or policy concerns. Minimum Requirements 2+ years of security‑related experience is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
