Accounts Receivable Cash Application Specialist

Accounts Receivable/ Cash Application Specialist (Temp) Location: Irvine (In Office) $25/hr - $35/hr Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Accounts Receivable / Cash Applications Specialist to support our finance team in managing collections, cash application, and AR processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP systems such as Sage 300 and NetSuite, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication abilities, especially in customer-facing interactions. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full-cycle Accounts Receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and cash application Perform accurate and timely cash application to customer accounts within our ERP systems (Sage 300 and NetSuite) Communicate professionally with customers via email and phone to follow up on outstanding balances Maintain and reconcile AR aging reports, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies Work closely with internal teams including Sales and Customer Service to resolve billing issues Monitor customer account status and escalate collection issues as necessary Utilize Excel to analyze AR data and prepare reports as needed Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Cash Applications Hands-on experience with Sage 300 and NetSuite ERP systems Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data analysis) Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be polished and professional in customer interactions Ability to manage a low-volume portfolio (approximately 140 accounts) with attention to detail and follow-through Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills Preferred: Experience in a B2B collections environment Knowledge of general accounting principles Perks: Dental, Vision, Medical, 401(k) Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
