Senior Specialist, Business Intelligence & Analytics

This position is responsible for technical support of inbound and outbound eligibility feeds, dashboard development, automation efforts, and custom report generation in support of internal and external customer needs.  Also provides advanced technical product support for Employer Population Health applications working closely with internal and external customers. This position is also responsible for gathering business requirements for inbound analytics requests, designing, and developing solutions using Tableau and/or Alteryx, and presenting output to leadership. This position does not directly supervise others but is responsible for driving results across cross functional teams and coaching junior developers on best use of models and processes.Quest Diagnostics honors our service members and encourages veterans to apply. Leads design, development, deployment and support of sustainable/automated BI, reporting and analytics solutions such as dashboards, scorecards, workflows and various other forms of data visualization and delivery. Designs, develops, deploys and supports measure algorithms in the form of complex SQL scripts and database queries. Collaborates strongly with Product and IT teams to ensure product and platform design integrates successfully with BI solutions. Proactively anticipates internal/external customer needs and uses customer insight to drive and guide the development of new solutions and offerings. Serves as a strategic partner to build, grow and maintain effective relationships with data partners. Maintains proactive communication and transparency with key internal and external stakeholders to provide status of projects.Provides support, guidance and collaboration with Application Developers to implement database and workflow design, and review developer’s work to ensure correct implementation. Upgrade and improve data and application schema, preparing design documents and functional specifications.
