Shipping Clerk
Position Overview:
- Generate bills for orders scheduled to ship out.
- Process orders using ERP System (Oracle).
- Assist Truck drivers by finding their orders in the system and assigning dock doors.
- Call drivers to let them know their freight is loaded and ready.
- Release/Print orders for the next day, including copies and labels.
- Respond to emails.
The requirements are:
- A minimum of 1 to 3 yrs of experience as in an administrative/clerical position preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word/Excel/Outlook).
- Well organized and responsible.
- Strong communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
- Familiar with Oracle is a plus.
