Overview: Sterling Engineering is partnering with an architectural cable and wire manufacturer to hire a Project Coordinator . This role blends direct customer outreach with heavy, detail-driven data entry into the client's CRM, HubSpot, which is launching company-wide next month. The ideal candidate brings prior CRM experience, advanced organizational skills, and the ability to juggle outreach, project coordination, and light estimating work in a fast-paced environment. 

Location: Addison, IL 60101

Hire Type : Direct Hire

Compensation : $65,000 – $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience

What You’ll Do :

• Communicate with prospective and existing customers by phone, email, and social platforms
• Follow up on leads, quotes, inquiries, and proposals
• Create basic estimates and assist with light sales support
• Enter and maintain detailed customer and project information in HubSpot CRM
• Track project timelines, deliverables, and deadlines
• Participate in weekly project follow-up meetings
• Coordinate with internal teams on product availability and delivery timing
• Organize customer files, communications, and quotes
• Help troubleshoot customer or project issues during the sales process
• Manage incoming calls and route inquiries to the appropriate team members

What They’re Looking For :

• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, sales coordination, project coordination, or project management
• Previous CRM experience is required; HubSpot or Salesforce experience is a plus
• Strong organization and attention to detail, especially with high-volume data entry
• Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with customers
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, architecture, or a related industry is a plus
