Sales Manager, Pro Audio Central Region USA

Our client is an established and well-regarded manufacturer in the pro audio and sound reinforcement space, known for high-quality products used across live events, installed sound, and touring applications.

As the company continues to grow its presence across the central United States, they are seeking a driven, hunter-minded Sales Manager to lead new business development across a substantial multi-state territory. In this field-based role, you will be fully focused on sales: proactively identifying and closing new dealer and integrator accounts, pursuing end-user project opportunities, and closely driving and supporting the region's independent sales representatives. You'll build relationships across a mix of states spanning the Midwest and South, representing the brand at trade shows and industry events along the way. This is a high-visibility role for someone who wants ownership over a growing territory.
Responsibilities
- Lead new business development across a substantial multi-state territory.
- Proactively identify and close new dealer and integrator accounts.
- Pursue end-user project opportunities.
- Closely drive and support the region's independent sales representatives.
- Build relationships across a mix of states spanning the Midwest and South.
- Represent the brand at trade shows and industry events.
- Take ownership over a growing territory.
Qualifications
- Natural sales talent with a proven track record of hunting and closing new business.
- Audio technical knowledge is a plus, not a requirement.
- Candidates from pro audio, sound reinforcement, AV or broadcast backgrounds are all welcome to apply.
- You should be based in Atlanta, Chicago, Nashville, or Miami.
- Ready to travel extensively across your territory.
