Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with River Oaks Psychotherapy Ltd., your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting extensive clinical assessments to evaluate the needs of students and their families, allowing for the development of tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices.

• Implementing therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other strategies that are designed to meet the individualized needs of each client.

• Maintaining detailed clinical documentation in alignment with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accurate records that facilitate continuity of care.

• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team, consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health providers, to ensure that clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Engaging in monthly case consultation meetings to share insights and improve service delivery alongside peers.

• Providing educational resources and support to clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and resources within their communities.

• Staying informed about the latest advancements in mental health practices and incorporating best practices into your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds, addressing various mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related challenges. Your role will be pivotal in helping families navigate the complexities of mental health treatment and in fostering resilience and coping skills among young clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
