This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys organization and compliance, and wants to play a vital role in supporting project success from bid through project closeout.We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, communicates effectively, and enjoys working collaboratively with project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams.Position SummaryThe Contracts Administrator is responsible for managing contract documentation, subcontractor compliance, and project records while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and applicable state and federal regulations. This role is critical in supporting operations, maintaining organized project files, and helping projects move efficiently from bidding through completion.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the bidding process by preparing and organizing contract-related documentation.Maintain accurate and compliant project files throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare, review, and manage contracts and supporting documentation.Coordinate subcontractor prequalification, onboarding, and compliance requirements.Track insurance certificates, licenses, bonds, and other required documentation.Maintain contract logs, compliance records, and project tracking systems.Provide administrative support to Project Managers through clear and timely communication.Assist with project closeout documentation and final record retention.Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable California and federal regulations.Qualifications RequiredBachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.Resourceful with strong problem-solving skills.Ability to learn new software and technology quickly.Authorized to work in the United States.PreferredExperience in contracts administration, compliance, or construction administration.Knowledge of California construction contracts and legal terminology.Understanding of California State and Federal public works requirements.Familiarity with prevailing wage laws and compliance requirements.Construction industry experience is highly preferred.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.Frequent keyboard and office equipment use.Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.Ability to stand and walk as needed throughout the workday.Work EnvironmentFull-time onsite position in Fresno, CA.Professional office environment with regular interaction among project teams.Fast-paced, collaborative workplace supporting multiple active construction projects.Why Apply?This is an opportunity to join a respected and growing construction organization where your attention to detail and organizational skills will directly contribute to the success of high-impact projects.
