Description Job description Busy general surgery practice seeks a motivated front desk receptionist. Duties include: answering a multi-line phone system, scheduling appointments, patient check-in and check-out, all while providing excellent customer service. Candidates must be detail oriented, able to manage a multi-line phone system, comfortable in a fast-paced work environment, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Duties & Responsibilities Answer and route calls using a multi-line phone system Schedule patient appointments and manage doctors calendars Greet patients and visitors, including patient check-in and check-out Verify patient information and demographic data Manage medical records and documentation as needed Handle patient inquiries both in person and over the phone Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area Support efficient front desk operations and assist office staff as needed Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times Summary As a Patient Care Representative, you will be essential in providing administrative support and exceptional patient service in a medical office setting.
