Occupational Therapist (OT) | Inpatient Rehab Location: Augusta, GA Pay Rate: $65/hour Position Type: Contract; 13 Weeks Care Setting: Inpatient Rehab Shift Availability: M-F 8AM-4PM Job Summary Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Occupational Therapists (OTs) for inpatient rehab opportunities in Augusta, GA. Responsibilities An OT working a contract through Elite Medical Staffing at an inpatient rehab facility may be expected to: Evaluate residents' functional abilities and identify barriers to independence, safety, and participation in daily activities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve or maintain performance of activities of daily living Provide therapeutic interventions to support functional independence, safety, and quality of life Assess and recommend adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and environmental modifications Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical findings and goals Educate residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques, safety strategies, and functional support Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and resident outcomes Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and professional practice standards Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active OT license Minimum 1 year of experience working in inpatient rehab Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations Credentials Required Active and unencumbered GA OT License or Compact OT License Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport CPR/BLS Resume Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement About Elite Medical Staffing Elite Medical Staffing is a healthcare staffing agency connecting experienced nursing and allied healthcare professionals with flexible, high-paying opportunities.
