Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and active RN license in Georgia or a participating compact state
• Minimum of one year experience in a stepdown or progressive care environment
• Expertise in telemonitoring, ventilator management, and care for patients with complex wounds
• Proficient with administration and titration of Norepinephrine and Dopamine drips
• Comfortable managing nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5 for optimal care delivery
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to documentation and patient safety protocols
• Please note: Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the assignment location; no local travelers will be considered

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-level care to medically complex patients requiring stepdown oversight
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, maintain ventilators, and manage advanced wound care protocols
• Administer vasoactive infusions per physician orders and prioritize rapid response to changes in patient condition
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and document nursing interventions
• Provide patient and family education to ensure understanding of care and discharge plans
