Engage with a busy medical stepdown unit serving 16-20 beds, caring for complex cases such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, T2DM, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. Schedule/Hours

• 36 or 48 hours per week (contract format)

Qualifications

• Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years' recent stepdown experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Confident in managing a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in a high-acuity setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care and monitor critical changes in stepdown patients
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team for tailored, patient-centered care
• Administer, titrate, and monitor medications for complex medical conditions
