PT - Physical Therapist

Inpatient Physical Therapist Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule, with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There are three weekend days required every six weeks. Job Description The Inpatient Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients across various units, including the Emergency Department, orthopedic/spine unit, rehabilitation unit, telemetry unit, and medical-surgical unit. The role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary support and an evidence-based approach to patient care. Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapy interventions tailored to patients’ needs. Monitor and document patient progress. Educate patients and their families regarding treatment goals and home exercise programs. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Float as needed to similar units within the facility. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist. Kansas PT license is required at the time of submission.
