Assembler I

Job Overview Assembler (I) – Lennox AES, Reno, NV. This hourly non‑exempt role involves preparing components and assembling parts to create finished products, following detailed instructions, blueprints, or diagrams. The position also includes painting, finishing, and/or insulating components. Responsibilities Follow detailed instructions, blueprints, or diagrams to assemble components or products. Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to perform assembly tasks. Inspect and verify the quality of assembled products to ensure they meet specified standards. Identify and report any defects or issues with components or finished products. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve issues. May perform other limited assembly, fabrication, production, or operator tasks of a standard nature. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams, or assembly instructions. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work. Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment. Ability to learn basic machinery operations such as a waterjet. Able to paint and work with insulation. Compensation Hourly non‑exempt role with a starting pay range of $20.00 per hour. Overtime is paid for hours worked beyond 40 hours in a week as required by state law.
