F135 LSC Data Engineer (Onsite)

The F135 Lighting Sustainment Center (LSC) Team at Pratt & Whitney seeks a Data Engineer located in Dayton, OH. In this role you will collaborate across a cross‑functional organization to support propulsion system maintenance and enable customers to plan and schedule operations. What You Will Do Employ sophisticated analytics programs and statistical methods to prepare data for use in predictive and prescriptive modeling. Integrate data from various sources, creating a unified and comprehensive organizational data view. Continuously assess and improve data quality, reliability, and consistency to ensure trustworthy data for analysis. Participate in alignment meetings, providing data‑driven insights to support communication of fleet issues with internal and external customers. Support and lead team training events, contribute to a 24/7/365 operational environment, including shift flexibility, weekend/holiday support, and EH&S compliance. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Technical, or Logistics (required). Minimum 8 years of logistics experience. Minimum 5 years of customer support experience and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD Secret) required. U.S. citizenship required. Qualifications We Prefer Advanced abilities in data analytics and MS Office Suite. Strong SQL skills to manipulate and query data stored in relational databases, and design/optimize database schemas. Comfortable working in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced military HQ or operations center environment. Excellent presentation skills with experience briefing at executive level. Salary & Benefits Salary range: $107,500 USD – $204,500 USD.
