Direct Support Professional / Personal Attendant For Adults with Developmental Disabilities - Santa Barbara / Goleta - $500 sign on Bonus

Employment Information

• Location: Santa Barbara

• Part-Time & Full-Time: $20 / hour

• $500 Sign on bonus

• Mileage reimbursement

• $10/month cell phone stipend

• Flexible shifts ranging from morning, evening, and overnight shifts

Your Responsibilities

• Support participants with daily living skills such as cleaning, cooking, and budgeting

• Encourage and model independence, hobbies, and social activities

• Assist participants access and participate in community activities

• Assist with personal care such as medication support, hygiene and bathing (lifting / transferring may be required)

• Collaborate Person-Centered Care planning with participant

• Record progress of care plan

Who We’re Looking For

• Someone who is compassionate with a person-centered mindset

• Someone who is capable of communication with dignity and respect, especially during challenging moments

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Responsible, and can assist in goal progress tracking

• CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if you’re not certified or need to be recertified)

• Weekend Availability (Is a plus but not required)
