Machine Operator

Solon, Ohio

Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Thursday

Overtime: Mandatory overtime on Friday when scheduled

Pay: $16 per hour - Paid Weekly

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is ideal for candidates with prior manufacturing experience who are looking to build a career in electronics and learn Surface Mount Technology (SMT). Training will be provided on SMT equipment and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup and operation of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machines
• Load feeders, components, and materials onto SMT equipment
• Monitor machine performance and notify the team of any issues
• Perform visual inspection of circuit boards for quality and defects
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures
• Maintain production efficiency and quality standards
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Support rework or touch-up processes as needed

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, production, or assembly experience required
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Basic computer skills

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience with electronics assembly or SMT processes
• Familiarity with IPC standards or soldering
• Experience reading basic work instructions or prints
