well-established, physician-led healthcare system in the Capital Region of New York is seeking a Board-Certified or Truly Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a growing, collaborative cardiology team serving Albany and Troy, NY . Why This Opportunity Stands Out Guaranteed base salary: $600,000/year $125,000+ in bonuses (sign-on, retention & relocation) Flexible employment models to match your lifestyle Advanced cardiac & vascular services ️ EPIC EMR Strong multidisciplinary cardiology team Practice across Albany & Troy, NY ️ Flexible Schedule Options Choose the model that fits you best: 1️ Weekend Rounding Only Friday Sunday, 12 PM 12 AM Hospital rounding only (no clinic) 2️ Traditional Hospital + Clinic Role 40-hour workweek Outpatient clinic + inpatient rounding 1:5 weekend call rotation 3️ Hospital-Only Shift Model 7-on / 7-off (7 AM 7 PM) No clinic responsibilities Team-based daytime coverage, solo evenings Clinical Responsibilities Inpatient and outpatient non-invasive cardiology care Hospital rounding and outpatient clinic visits Average patients per 8-hour clinic day Shared inpatient census of patients/day Weekend call: 1:5 rotation with strong in-house support Rare overnight in-person calls Collaborative care with experienced cardiology colleagues ️ Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Cardiology Board Certified in Internal Medicine (or must obtain within 2 years) Fellowship-trained in Cardiology (completed before start) New York medical license (or willingness to obtain) ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA Clean malpractice history No locums candidates Lapsed board certification not accepted Open to 2026 new graduates Willing to work across Albany & Troy locations Compensation & Benefits $600,000 guaranteed base salary $75,000 sign-on bonus $25,000 retention bonus $25,000 relocation bonus (if applicable) Productivity, quality & extra-shift incentives ️ Generous PTO CME allowance ️ Malpractice coverage Health, dental, vision & life insurance Retirement plans Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Employee assistance & wellness programs Why Capital Region, NY? ️ Affordable living with urban amenities Close to Adirondacks, Catskills & Berkshires Thriving arts, dining & cultural scene Excellent schools & higher education Less than 3 hours to NYC & Boston Interested or know someone who might be?
