Certified Surgical First Assist Brookfield, United States, 53045 1 Contractor Onsite position
Shift Timings: 10:00-20:30 Hours- Monday to Friday (4 Days/10 Hours)
Per Week: 40 Hours
One rotating day off per week; Call: based on department needs but currently at 1-2 week night call shifts per week; one full weekend per 4 week schedule
Experience: Neuro, Robotics, Orthopedics (esp total joints), Vascular; previous surgical tech experience preferred, EPIC; may need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
Responsibilities
- Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries.
- Sterilizing equipment and instruments.
- Stocking adequate supplies for surgery.
- Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites.
- Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.
- Tracking surgical supplies.
- Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.
- Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team.
- Helping provide great patient care.
