Starting Pay: $40 / hr

Summary:
The primary function of the Clinic Registered Nurse is to provide direct patient care. Responsibilities include performing assessments, placing peripheral IV catheters, using ultrasound technology, administering medications, providing patient education, and managing patient cases via phone and online portal. This role is vital to our operations, and we seek a motivated individual willing to perform all aspects of nursing care while embodying our five core values.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered care and complete initial assessments, including vital signs and health information.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, involving patients and families.
• Recognize and respond to significant changes in patient condition.
• Communicate with healthcare team members and maintain accurate patient records.
• Administer medications through various routes (IV, IM, oral, subcutaneous), including pain medications, narcotics, antianxiety meds, antiemetics, and glucocorticoids.
• Monitor patient medication needs and responses, adjusting as appropriate.
• Perform phlebotomy, prepare lab specimens, and assist with procedures and injections.
• Conduct advanced clinical tasks such as ultrasound-guided IV placement and Nitrous Oxide therapy.
• Provide patient education and counseling.
• Maintain and sterilize equipment, and assess discharge needs.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills for age-appropriate care.
• Participate in professional development and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Licensure, Registration, and Certification Required:

• Registered Nurse License issued by the state of Wisconsin.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification – approved by Mind+.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers certification – approved by Mind+.

Education Required:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing.

Experience Required:

• At least 1 year of clinical experience providing direct care and administering IV medications.

The pay range for this role is:
40 - 40 USD per hour(Mind+ Neurology (Brookfield))
