Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a

full-time

Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator for our Emergency Department, home to Hampton Roads' only Level I Trauma Center. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing emergency nursing team where clinical skill, teamwork, and purpose come together to make an immediate impact for patients and families across the region.

Nurses in this department gain exposure to complex emergency, trauma, cardiac, stroke, critical care, and specialty cases while building advanced clinical skills in a collaborative environment. Education Requirements

BSN Required

Certification/Licensure Requirements

Registered Nurse license required

Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire

NIHSS, TCRN, SCRN, TNCC, CEN, PALS, and ACLS preferred

Experience Requirements

18 months RN experience Required

Emergency Department experience preferred

Supervisory experience preferred

Strong candidates with related acute care, critical care, intermediate care, trauma, cardiac, stroke, or med/surg experience are encouraged to apply

The base pay range for full-time employment is $47.42 - $68.63 hourly.
