Travel Mammographer - $2,965 per week

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel job in Pinole, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Mammography Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Mammographer located in the area is responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. This role includes assisting radiologists with mammography interventions such as core biopsies, fine-needle aspirations (FNA's), and localizations. The position requires compliance with all regulatory mandates for mammography and ensuring quality assurance on digital imaging equipment. The Mammographer will support patient education, handle related paperwork, operate and troubleshoot digital mammography equipment, and contribute to patient safety and comfort throughout the procedures. Job Details: Schedule: Days shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid CRT and Mammography Certification, BLS certification, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and ability to operate digital mammography equipment and perform routine and non-routine views. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of ultrasound diagnostic procedures, image processing, and radiographic techniques. Knowledge of safety principles related to ultrasound and mammography equipment. Additional Information: Responsible for positioning patients for mammography as well as non-routine views, preparing and setting up medical supplies, explaining procedures to patients to ensure cooperation, and maintaining all digital mammography equipment, including performing troubleshooting and quality control functions. The role involves collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare team members to deliver high-quality imaging services.
