• Start Date: 12/01/2026
• End Date/Duration: 2-week initial assignment with potential for ongoing sporadic coverage
• Shift: 7 am – 7 am (24-hour beeper call, not onsite)
• Hours/Week: Flexible, approximately 14 hours of coverage per day
• Employment Type: Locum
• License/Certifications: Active NM medical license, NM DEA; Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
• Experience: Previous orthopedic surgery experience preferred; must have case logs within past 24 months

Pay & Benefits

What You’ll Do

• Provide orthopedic surgical care and procedures as per hospital guidelines
• Participate in 24-hour beeper call coverage (on-call, not onsite)
• Collaborate with hospital staff to deliver quality patient care
• Complete documentation and case logs promptly
• Adhere to hospital privileging and credentialing requirements
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations

What You Need

• Active New Mexico medical license and NM DEA
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic surgery
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to manage 24-hour on-call responsibilities effectively
