Senior Project Manager - Signage

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager specializing in signage for a client based in California. This exciting role requires overseeing national accounts and managing projects from proposal through installation. The ideal candidate will be adept at permitting, fabrication, installation coordination, subcontractor management, and multi-site rollouts.

Compensation

• Target Salary: $80,000 - $100,000.00

Work Hours

• Monday - Friday
• Likely 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Potential future hybrid schedule (possibly 1 day remote per week)

Required Experience

• 5-10 years of Project Management experience in the signage industry
• Experience managing national accounts preferred
• QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) signage experience highly preferred
• Ability to read and understand architectural and construction drawings
• Experience managing fabrication, permitting, installation, and project execution
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for client service activities.
• Manage the successful execution of client projects from start to finish.
• Act as liaison between clients, internal teams, and installation subcontractors.
• Review proposals and request part numbers.
• Prepare art requests for the in-house design team.
• Prepare estimates and sales orders in Job Scope.
• Request purchase orders for subcontractors.
• Create and monitor job folders and project tracking spreadsheets.
• Provide weekly status reports to management on project activity and completion.
• Prepare project release checklists, sales orders, and drawing packages for manufacturing handoff.
• Qualify, select, and manage outside installation vendors as needed.
• Monitor permit status, shipping requirements, and installation schedules to ensure project deadlines are met.

Skills & Qualifications

• Signage industry experience required.
• Strong understanding of project management processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in:
  • Microsoft Office
  • Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Benefits

Additional Details: Max Pay is $100,000. Min Pay is $80,000. Around 0% travel time.
