Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a metropolitan location. This role involves providing specialized care in a fast-paced observations unit with a focus on medical, trauma overflow, and higher to lower acuity patients. The nurse will operate in a dynamic environment with potential to float to other areas of competency, supporting patient care needs across different units.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an acute care setting within the specialty.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include staffing a 28-bed inpatient observation unit located near the emergency department, caring for patients with varying acuity levels including trauma overflow beds, medical beds, and mid-holds. Candidates should load all demographic information, including badge-appropriate photo. Holidays are considered part of the scheduled work expectation.
