Manufacturing Manager

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Manufacturing Manager in Raynham, MA. The position will become part of DePuy Synthes following the separation of the Orthopedics business from Johnson & Johnson. The role will be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. Job Function Supply Chain Manufacturing Job Sub Function Plant Management Job Category People Leader Location Raynham, Massachusetts, United States of America Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of manufacturing professionals to achieve production targets and quality standards. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment of production plans with business goals and objectives. Monitor manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement training programs to develop manufacturing personnel. Oversee production schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure the timely delivery of high‑quality products. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Qualifications Education A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent University degree is required; a focused degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field is preferred. An advanced degree, Master’s is preferred. Experience and Skills – Required Minimum six (6) years of relevant professional experience. Ability to build interdependent partnering relationships that facilitate the accomplishment of Operations goals/objectives. Basic project management skills. Solid understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and balance multiple priorities. Experience and Skills – Preferred Experience in a manufacturing operations environment. Experience in the Healthcare/Medical Devices industry. Experience working in FDA‑regulated environments. Knowledge of capacity planning, financial competence and a basic understanding of lean manufacturing technologies. Formal lean six‑sigma/process excellence training and/or certification.
