Commercial Account Executive - Minneapolis Cohesity is a leader in AI‑powered data security and management. We help organizations defend against cybersecurity threats with comprehensive data security and management capabilities, including immutable backup snapshots, AI‑based threat detection, monitoring for malicious behavior, and rapid recovery at scale. We are seeking an exceptionally driven Account Executive to join our team at Cohesity. This role will drive business forward by implementing sales strategies and exceeding revenue targets. The ideal candidate is ambitious, proven in sales, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Maintain customer satisfaction while ensuring accurate sales projections. Collaborate closely with channel partners to generate revenue and promote innovative solutions. Develop and lead a sales pipeline, moving a large number of strategic transactions through the sales process. Prospect accounts, reach decision‑makers, and close business. Define and complete sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed quota. Build value by developing and presenting proposals to customers. Drive account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with partners. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience negotiating with and selling to enterprise IT buyers in a quota‑carrying sales role. Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making. Understanding of enterprise software sales, subscription services, or SaaS licensing methodologies. Existing reseller and channel relationships is a plus. Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Office (mainly Excel), and other CRM tools. Familiarity with enterprise procurement processes for IT spending. Track record of personal development, increasing responsibility, and thriving in a demanding environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate company value. Compensation Pay Range: $169,600.00 – $212,000.00 The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full‑time employment.
