Description

Essential Responsibilities:

• Presenting the aspects of the Venture Resorts Management Program to new or existing prospective enrollees
• Working directly with new owners to outline the details of the company's rental program
• Cold calling existing rental homeowners to sell them on the program
• Working with area builders and businesses to promote Venture Resorts to obtain new inventory
• Attending community expos for new home builders
• Answering inquiries regarding the program on company policies, procedures, services, and enrollment
• Completing and negotiating (when necessary) terms of paperwork for new or existing enrollment
• Establishing a business relationship rooted in service, knowledge, and experience
• Educating owners on best practices to be a successful vacation rental homeowner
• Assisting the Revenue Manager with new and existing prospective homeowners with TVRU enrollment
• Developing, planning, and implementing department goals
• Developing, planning, and implementing marketing strategies that promote enrollment and new business
• Developing and maintaining business relationships with real estate agents to maintain cooperation and appreciation with regard to referrals and training
• Developing and maintaining relationships with all service departments in the property services division of Beach Properties
• Professionally representing Oak Island Accommodations with the knowledge, service, and integrity
• Maintaining schedule flexibility to meet the demands of the company, department, and clientele availability

Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:

• 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, vacation rentals, or real estate
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple leads and prioritize effectively
• Negotiation and contract management experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Organizational skills: strong time management and task organization abilities
• Problem-solving: proactive in identifying issues and implementing solutions
• Technology proficiency: experience with property management software, CRM tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Interpersonal skills: ability to build relationships and demonstrate empathy in owner interactions
• Self-motivated

Desired Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency with technology, including MS Office and property management software
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

Physically You Can Anticipate:

• Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally
• Ability to lift 20 pounds and exert 40+ pounds of force. Use your arms and legs. Frequent standing, walking, carrying, bending, reaching, and twisting
• Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation
