Desktop Support Engineer

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and customer‑focused Desktop Technician (Band 2) to join our Philippines team. In this role, you will provide day‑to‑day local and remote desktop support, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and ensure timely resolution of tickets while maintaining Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance. Respond to inbound calls, document troubleshooting steps, and resolve hardware, software, and application challenges. Work with third‑party vendors to remediate complex AV issues. Maintain accurate ticket updates for all reported incidents. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows XP, 7, 8.1, 10, Microsoft Office 2010, Cisco Jabber, and other authorized applications. Provide basic support for Mac operating systems. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware. Perform preventative maintenance and remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connectivity and workstation issues. Support IT projects requiring flexibility and teamwork. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent). Certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or higher. Minimum of 18 months IT experience. Strong knowledge of Windows 7–10, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), MS Office 365, enterprise antivirus, and helpdesk ticketing systems. Experience with mobile device management (iOS/Android), enterprise encryption, and Windows PC/laptop management via Active Directory. Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet SLAs. Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and customer service skills. Adaptable and flexible in a fast‑changing environment.
