Located in a supportive setting near Palatine, IL, you’ll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and staff to assess needs, develop intervention strategies, and help every student thrive. The position is based at an elementary school, with a single site assignment providing the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and continuity of care.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
• Previous school-based experience preferred, especially at the elementary level
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans
• Provide short-term counseling to students as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student well-being
• Attend team meetings and contribute to a positive school climate
• Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with district policies

This full-time assignment entails 37.5 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch daily. Onboarding is streamlined and decisions are made quickly, with interviews held via Zoom and offers possible within 24 hours.
