Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology
• Active, valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement for Illinois
• Minimum two years of school-based experience required
• Track record of embodying LEARN's Core Values
• Persistent, solution-focused approach to student achievement and success
• Comprehensive understanding of MTSS, SPED, and 504 plans

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assess, identify, and support students’ academic and social-emotional needs to maximize access to learning and foster well-rounded development
• Contribute as a valued member of special education, 504, and MTSS teams, ensuring timely compliance and effective individualized plans
• Lead Tier 3 interventions and progress monitoring for identified scholars
• Prepare and present professional reports and documentation for IEP, eligibility, annual, and check-in meetings
• Secure and manage necessary information from external agencies, upholding strict confidentiality standards
• Maintain accurate service, collaboration, and progress records
• Stay current on best practices, share expertise via professional development, and serve as a subject expert in child development and learning disorders
• Maintain proactive, professional communication with stakeholders—parents, teachers, and administrators
• Uphold all organizational, state, and federal guidelines and regulations
