Retention Marketing Specialist

Job Description We’re looking for a detail-oriented and hands‑on Retention Marketing Specialist to support and execute retention marketing initiatives across email, SMS, and loyalty channels. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing campaigns to life, analyzing performance, and optimizing the customer journey to drive engagement and repeat purchases. What You’ll Do Execute retention marketing campaigns across email, SMS, and loyalty channels. Build, maintain, and optimize lifecycle automations, including Welcome, Abandoned Cart, Browse Abandonment, Post-Purchase, Win‑Back, and VIP flows. Support the development and execution of the campaign calendar within Klaviyo. Assist with audience segmentation, list management, and campaign deployment. Coordinate creative assets and approvals with Marketing and Creative teams to ensure timely execution. Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reporting on key KPIs. Execute A/B tests across messaging, timing, segmentation, and creative to identify opportunities for improvement. Analyze customer behavior and campaign data to uncover insights that increase engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value. Support loyalty and VIP initiatives, including promotional campaigns and member communications. Ensure all campaigns are thoroughly QA’d, scheduled accurately, and launched on time. Qualifications 2 to 4 years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, email, SMS, or retention marketing within a DTC or ecommerce environment. Hands‑on experience with Klaviyo is required. Familiarity with Shopify and ecommerce customer journeys. Experience executing campaigns, managing automations, and supporting segmentation strategies. Strong attention to detail with excellent project management and organizational skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign performance and make data‑driven recommendations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally. Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and managing multiple priorities.
