Private Equity Associate - Chicago

We are looking to speak with talented mid- to senior-level associate attorneys to join our client’s Private Equity and M&A team.This is a Chicago-based opportunity to step into a high-impact role where your judgment, technical skill, and strategic insight will directly support sophisticated private equity sponsors and portfolio companies.This is an opportunity for attorneys with strong private equity and M&A experience who are ready to take ownership of complex matters and serve as a trusted advisor. Associates get exposure to a wide range of PE transactions—platform acquisitions, roll-ups, minority investments, mergers, joint ventures, and beyond.You will play a lead role on transactions, collaborate closely within a supportive team environment, and help guide clients through critical business decisions.Associates don’t get lost in the shuffle. You’ll take on substantive drafting, negotiating, and client-facing responsibilities early. Associates frequently step into roles where they’re running major workstreams and contributing directly to deal strategy.Our client invests heavily in developing associates into true counselors.
