We’re looking for a confident and driven Account Executive to join our team, introduce new prospects to Muck Rack, win new business, and contribute to our growth. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will focus on winning new customers in the enterprise segment. You should be excited about a fast-paced environment with a diverse range of agency and brand prospects, and you should be skilled at building rapport and guiding prospects through a sales process. What you’ll do Serve as the primary point of contact for a portion of Muck Rack sales leads Achieve sales goals and meet activity quota requirements Respond to inbound demo requests and prospect for self-generated opportunities Demo Muck Rack at meetings, on calls, and at events Negotiate contracts and close deals How success will be measured Individual revenue goal Pipeline generation and prospecting activity ACV Ideal fit At least 3 years of professional experience, with 2 years of SaaS closing experience and exposure to PR, or 4 years of PR experience Experience in a full-cycle sales role, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing opportunities Experience carrying a quota and exceeding goals, or related experience Self-motivated and driven by results Invested in personal development to grow as a sales professional and industry expert Natural relationship builder who is personable, patient and dependable Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; comfortable engaging via email, phone, text, and social media, and confident presenting to large teams Dedicated to understanding customer challenges and identifying solutions Muck Rack can provide Familiar with our tools (Google Drive, Salesforce, Slack, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, CPQ, Guru) and willing to learn our tech stack Interview Overview Below is the interview plan. Process steps may include supplemental information requests or additional steps before a final decision. 30 min interview with a member of our Talent Team 1 hour Zoom interview with the hiring manager Skills Assessment (up to 2 hours) Peer interviews with team members Final calls with executive team members Compensation and location In the US, base salary is $80,000 with on-target earnings of $170,000+. We typically build 1-3 quarters of ramp time with lower goals and earnings. We pay on a geo-neutral basis by function and level. For all other countries, we offer competitive pay bands based on market standards. More Note: Benefits and compensation reflect offerings for U.S.-based employees. We provide support for employees in other locations in compliance with local laws. We hire in select locations based on job function.
