The Old Oak Behavioral and Psychological Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team in a full-time capacity, working remotely to provide critical support for individuals within our detox center. Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to efficiently manage your schedule while ensuring the highest level of care for your clients. While you will primarily engage with clients in a virtual environment, we also provide support for in-person sessions as needed. You will connect with a wide range of professionals, including therapists, psychiatrists, and support staff, all dedicated to nurturing a supportive and collaborative workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans for clients entering our detox program.
• Provide short-term psychotherapy and facilitate group therapy sessions both remotely and, when necessary, in-person, ensuring that each client's unique needs are addressed.
• Offer consultations pertaining to counseling needs, guiding clients through personalized care pathways.
• Plan and execute outreach activities to educate the community about available resources and support for addiction and mental health issues.
• Engage in continual training and professional development to stay updated on best practices and innovative therapeutic approaches.
• Deliver crisis assessment and intervention services, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to address acute needs.
• Assess suicidal concerns promptly, coordinating referrals for hospitalization when necessary and providing ongoing support throughout the recovery process.
• Document clinical interactions meticulously in our designated electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves a diverse population of individuals dealing with substance use disorders, particularly those in need of detoxification support. You will engage with clients across various demographics, including adolescents and young adults, utilizing culturally competent approaches that cater to their unique backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Must hold a valid LCSW license; candidates with a fully licensed LMHC designation may also be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience that includes case management, particularly within a substance use treatment environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse adolescents or college-age populations, with a focus on addressing their specific treatment and recovery challenges.
• Demonstrated proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and methodologies.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.

Compensation and Benefits
