Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Anchor Therapy, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments and biopsychosocial evaluations for clients, tailoring treatment plans to meet their unique needs.
• Providing one-on-one therapy sessions focused on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-oriented interventions.
• Co-facilitating weekly psychoeducational class sessions to educate clients about coping strategies for managing pain and emotional distress.
• Monitoring clinical progress through regular evaluations, adjusting treatment goals and methods as necessary to support recovery.
• Documenting all client interactions and treatment updates meticulously in our EMR system to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams within the detox center to ensure clients are provided with a holistic approach to care, including referrals to other therapeutic modalities when required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary client base will consist of adults who have experienced work-related injuries leading to mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain conditions. You will engage with a diverse group of individuals, providing support that acknowledges the intersection of physical and mental health, and administering therapies that foster healing and empowerment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted California LCSW license.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing therapeutic services, particularly in pain psychology or similar contexts.
• Strong foundational knowledge in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills enabling meaningful interaction with clients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in working with populations experiencing chronic pain and trauma.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary settings or integrated therapeutic approaches.
• A proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients and their support networks.
• Competency in utilizing EMR systems for client documentation and care management.

Compensation and Benefits
