We are seeking an experienced operations manager to join our team in Cloverdale, IN. You will manage the day-to-day operations of our truck fleet and deliveries. This is a great opportunity to join our local company and be a part of our growing market delivering industrial dry bulk commodities (cement, crushed aggregates, and other products).

This position is located in Cloverdale, IN, and you must be able to commute daily.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily terminal operations, including freight movement, loading/unloading, dispatch, equipment, and yard activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop terminal employees, supervisors, drivers, and support staff.
• Establish and monitor operational goals, productivity standards, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain a strong safety culture and conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and corrective-action follow-up.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of progressive experience in transportation, logistics, distribution, or terminal operations is required.
• Strong knowledge of transportation, dispatch, or freight operations.
• Understanding of DOT and applicable transportation safety regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage employees and drive operational performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
