Human Resources InternHanes Companies - Human Resources Intern Location: Winston-Salem, NC Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.Job Summary The Human Resources Intern will support the HR Team in delivering day-to-day HR operations across both a corporate office and manufacturing plant environment. This role provides hands-on experience in multiple HR functional areas including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, training, and HR administration. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, and highly organized.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the HR Managers with daily human resources operations across corporate and plant locationsSupport recruitment efforts, including posting positions, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting onboarding activitiesMaintain and update employee records and personnel files to ensure compliance with company and legal requirementsAssist with compliance tasks related to company policies, employment law, and manufacturing safety requirementsParticipate in HR projects such as engagement initiatives and process improvementsGain exposure to HR practices unique to a manufacturing plant environment, including hourly workforce supportQualificationsInterest in pursuing a career as an HR Generalist or HR professionalAbility to travel reliably to Winston-Salem, NC and work on-site Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.Strong organizational, communication, and time management skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionallyWillingness to work in both a corporate office and manufacturing plant settingWhat You'll GainHands-on experience supporting HR Generalist functionsExposure to both corporate and manufacturing HR operationsPractical experience with employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and complianceMentorship from experienced HR professionalsA strong foundation for a future career in Human ResourcesHanes Companies is a people-first organization dedicated to providing a complete benefits package for our employees and their families.
