Our client, a leading engine manufacturing company, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting the Manufacturing, Assembly, and Engineering Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Engineer Location: Detroit, MI. Pay Range: $38 - $43

What's the Job?

• Coordinate quality objectives with manufacturing, engineering, and other cross-functional departments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through error-proofing and mistake-proofing processes.
• Analyze assembly process and SPC data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize Advanced Quality Tools, including PFMEA, to ensure quality standards are met throughout assembly operations.
• Support engine assembly operations in a hands-on plant environment while driving issues to closure through quality feedback loops.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 2-4 years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and CMM operations.
• Experience with SPC analysis, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and evaluate product integrity and compliance to standards.
