Escrow Officer

Job Summary Provides escrow services for residential and commercial resale, new construction, refinance, relocation and timeshare transactions. Responsible for facilitating real estate transactions by providing a high level of customer service and proactive communication to both internal and external customers throughout the closing process. Responsibilities Handle real estate transactions by establishing new escrow accounts, managing funds, processing documents for closings, and completing settlements in accordance with established policies and procedures. Act as a neutral liaison between file parties, adhere to company policy, and monitor and mitigate risk to the company. Understand how your team integrates with related teams to accomplish objectives. Impact the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of the team through your work. Recognize and solve atypical problems that occur infrequently. Evaluate and select solutions from existing precedents or procedures. Communicate and explain complex information, including interdependencies within the team and others. Work under limited supervision and may use discretion to modify work practices and processes to achieve results or improve efficiency. Act as a resource for less experienced team members as an individual contributor; do not have supervisory responsibilities. Perform all other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred. Typically requires 5+ years of related work experience.
