Job Title: Accounting Clerk (Contract – Potential for Hire)
Location: Northeast Philadelphia, PA (100% Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Start: Immediate
Position Overview:
A Northeast Philadelphia organization is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support its Revenue Cycle Operations team on a temporary basis, with potential for permanent hire. This role plays a critical part in Health Information Management by ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial and patient documentation.
Perform high-volume scanning of financial documents and patient forms
Ensure accurate and timely upload of documents into the electronic document management (EDM) system
Conduct EDM quality assurance to verify document accuracy and completeness
Manage and distribute incoming business mail to appropriate departments
Support credit card processing and posting
Assist the cash department with ad hoc projects
Maintain organized documentation to support revenue cycle operations
Help ensure critical documents are accessible to financial teams in a timely manner Qualifications:
Prior experience in administrative, accounting, or document management support preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Proficiency with scanning systems and basic computer applications
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Working knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoice handling, and data entry tasks.
• Experience using QuickBooks and general computer applications for recordkeeping and transaction support.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven onsite environment.
• Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize routine and changing tasks.
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive financial or patient-related information.
