Provide adequate resources, ongoing work direction, and problem solving to ensure business goals are met. Drive and lead a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving and decision making as well as recognizing them for exceptional work. Be highly visible to associates and promote hands-on, high involvement approaches to problem solving in support of the Materials function. Develop, coach and implement Materials Management methodologies in line with nVent's Lean approach to drive sustained improvements in velocity and inventory accuracy. Lead transformational projects that improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Inventory.You Have:Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred. 3+ years experience in Manufacturing, Materials or Supply Chain preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present and influence views in a clear and compelling manner. Experience with ERP systems preferred. Clearly demonstrate understanding of Lean Manufacturing. Experience in Change Management with the knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods, along with the flexibility and adaptability to accept, support, and deploy new processes in a changing business environment. Function in a constantly evolving, fast paced environment, with a positive demeanor.
