Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Be proficient and work independently in all service lines specifically Ortho, Neuro, Robotics and General
• Need 2 supervisory references at submittal. Charge accepted. 1 within 12 months and 1 within 3 years worked
• Copy of driver's license is needed at time of submittal to validate legal name
• Candidates may not have been directly employed, full time, part time, or PRN, by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year

Assignment Details:

• Monday through Friday, 0645-1515
• Weekend call as needed
• Call response time is 30 minutes
• Holiday call rotates with core staff
• Floating required between main OR and outpatient surgery
• Charting system: Cerner
