About this Role

ACP is seeking a Head of Development & Investor Relations to design and implement a forward-looking strategy for fundraising and enhancing ACP’s external profile. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in driving ACP’s strategic narrative and leading fundraising initiatives that significantly increase the organization’s grants and impact investments. This position demands a strategic thinker and active contributor who understands ACP’s model, structure, vision, and strategy, coupled with strong relationship-building and communication skills. The role involves working closely with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family offices, foundations, and impact investors to cultivate and maintain relationships, providing consistent updates on ACP’s ambitions and performance. Additionally, the individual will craft influential external-facing materials and manage ACP’s communications and investor relations. This responsibility includes funder reporting, community building, events, communications, and brand development.

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive ACP’s fundraising and external presence strategy.
• Build and maintain relationships with various funder organizations.
• Lead fundraising engagements for grants and impact investments.
• Refine and communicate ACP’s strategic narrative.
• Secure investment and grant commitments.
• Structure investment and grant agreements.
• Oversee ACP’s Communications and Investor Relations functions.
• Manage activities related to funder reporting and stewardship.
• Ensure community building, events, and brand building.
• Manage a team of 1-2 individuals.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 40%.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in fundraising and investor relations.
• Strong understanding of catalytic capital, philanthropic fundraising, and climate sectors.
• Proven ability as a strategic thinker and relationship builder.
• Excellent communication and content creation skills.
• Experience in securing investments and grant commitments.
• Leadership capabilities and experience managing a team.
