Senior Vice President, Development

Compensation: $225,000–$275,000 Base Salary + Executive Bonus + Long-Term Growth Opportunity A nationally recognized, multi-unit consumer brand is seeking an accomplished Senior Vice President of Development to join its executive leadership team and drive the next phase of strategic growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will lead enterprise-wide development initiatives including franchise expansion, corporate development, real estate strategy, strategic partnerships, and long-term market growth. This is a highly visible leadership role with significant influence over the company's future direction and expansion strategy. What You'll Lead Develop and execute the company's long-term growth and development strategy Drive domestic and international franchise expansion initiatives Lead market analysis, territory planning, and franchise development strategy Oversee real estate acquisition, site selection, lease negotiations, and development pipelines Identify and evaluate acquisitions, joint ventures, licensing opportunities, and strategic partnerships Partner with executive leadership on capital allocation, investment strategy, and corporate growth initiatives Build financial business cases and ROI models supporting expansion decisions Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and Board-level stakeholders Build and lead high-performing teams across development, real estate, and strategic growth functions We're Looking For 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in corporate development, franchise development, business strategy, real estate, investment management, or related executive leadership Demonstrated success leading large-scale franchise or multi-unit expansion Experience overseeing real estate development and site selection strategies Strong background in strategic partnerships, acquisitions, or enterprise growth initiatives Executive-level financial acumen including valuation, capital planning, and investment analysis Proven ability to influence senior executives, investors, and Board members Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred Ideal Industry Experience Candidates from high-growth, multi-unit organizations are strongly encouraged to apply, including: Fitness & Wellness Retail Consumer Services Franchising Multi-Unit Operations Opportunity to shape the long-term growth strategy of an established national brand If you've successfully led enterprise growth, franchise expansion, real estate strategy, and corporate development for a multi-unit organization, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.
