What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality ICU patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Monitor and operate advanced medical equipment, including ventilators, dialysis machines, and cardiac monitors
• Perform lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts as part of routine care
• Assist with patient assessments and implement care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team
• Float to various ICU units and occasionally to ED or PACU, handling a flexible patient ratio
• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols, including COVID-19 precautions
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately

What You Need
Required:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• 2+ years of ICU experience, Epic EMR experience preferred
• ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH certifications
• Ability to float across ICU, ED, PACU, and MS/PCU units
• Comfortable handling multiple device types and performing lab/EKG procedures

Preferred:

• Experience in managing isolation and infectious disease patients
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
